Chelsea Baratz moved to New York at the age of 19 to attend the New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music on a scholarship. Recently she played on Aretha Franklin's latest album, "Jewels in the Crown", and is featured as an artist & composer on Corey Wilkes' upcoming debut release, "Drop It" (Delmark Records). To date, she has traveled the world playing music and works on both the New York & Chicago music scenes.
