Bossa Bop is a new ensemble that combines the Brazilian Bossa Nova songbook with the sound of New York hardbop. Distinct and flavorful, Bossa Bop features the melodious vocals of standout NYC songbird Vanessa Perea and is joined by co-leader saxophonist Nick Biello. Rounding out the quintet is Leandro Pellegrino on nylon string guitar, bass stalwart Alexander Claffy and Jason Tiemann on drums.
